Iain Inglis is a Consultant at Plum and specialises in mathematical modelling and data analysis, with a particular focus on spectrum sharing. He has been involved in bespoke software development, equipment performance measurement and technology-related research. He has developed simulations of radio systems operating in a wide range of services and implemented support for data exchange technologies using Web standards. His modelling software has been used to advise operators on the feasibility of new communication services, and his data-logging software has been used to set standards within ITU-R.
Iain’s work further involves the development and application of a software framework for quickly analysing and visualising radio system models and data, particularly population and other geographic datasets.
Iain has a BSc in Physics, a PhD in Astronomy and a Diploma in Management Studies. Iain is a Chartered Engineer and a member of both the British Computer Society and the IEEE.
