Tim Miller will be presenting the findings of Plum’s recent study into how spectrum policy can impact on climate change, with a particular focus on the use of spectrum by the energy sector, to the annual conference of the Joint Radio Company, a UK joint venture between the National Grid and UK energy companies.  One of the key recommendations from our report was that sufficient spectrum should be available for the energy sector, although there are multiple ways this could be achieved, via dedicated spectrum, network slicing, or guaranteed service quality on mobile networks.
