Tim spoke on the subject of the role of smart cities in building a sustainable business environment for the 5G, AI, and IoT triplet – examining the way that smart city deployment of 5G may (or may not) help to encourage the uptake of consumer 5G networks and enable new IoT uses.  The panel discussion looked at the potential use cases for 5G, and considered where existing technology was not sufficient – and from this, where use cases and business cases differed.
