Plum conducted a study to determine the barriers to internet adoption and the effectiveness of policy levers for overcoming these barriers. The report was published in Vodafone’s Public Policy Paper Series Issue No. 10 “Developing Government objectives for broadband”.
Plum led a large study to develop likely scenarios for the state of the UK entertainment sector in 2028. The scenarios were then used to assess the likely long-term future demand for spectrum from the UK entertainment sector.
David Lewin spoke on “Future digital value: the UK entertainment sector in 2028” at the Intellect Consumer Electronics Conference 2009.
Plum assessed the extent to which existing telecommunications relay services meet the needs of four specific groups of deaf people and the extent to which relay services using more recent technologies might serve these groups effectively. The study involved primary research with 24 deaf people.
Ofcom published its fourth annual technology research report. The report covers a number of spectrum management projects and highlights a Plum study on the communications infrastructure required to support future entertainment services. Visit related web site
