The Sekreteriat, charged with informing the Danish public about the Digital TV Switchover process (DSO), wished to understand the technical issues relating to off-air reception by the public. The study provided a report summarising general DTT issues, such as the impact of household aerial condition, the interpretation of coverage maps and man-made noise. In addition, attention was paid to specifically Danish issues, such as the interest in receiving Swedish TV services, and the details of aerial group changes at specific transmitter sites.
