Karim Bensassi-Nour’s paper “Across the Metaverse: Policy Priorities” has been selected as one of the Top 10 papers of the International Institute of Communications’ Future Leaders Competition 2022. This paper identifies and describes the features of the Metaverse. It discusses key policy issues that may arise across both the virtual and the digital worlds, and sets out priorities for policymakers in shaping the development of this novel technology.
