Regulating for Quality of Service in Egypt

Quality of service is one the key metrics by which a mobile service is measured. Improving the quality of service that consumers experience is rightly important for Egyptian policymakers and regulators. Plum’s report, commissioned by the GSMA, explored how quality of service could be improved on Egyptian mobile networks to the benefit of consumers. International experience, looking both at coverage obligations and quality measurements, was analysed and applied to Egypt in order to assist with the development of an environment that makes excellent quality of service achievable.
